Gallery Systems Announces the New Release of eMuseum, API Services

How to Choose a CMS That Supports Your Institution’s Needs

Gallery Systems is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of eMuseum, our digital publishing software. eMuseum integrates with The Museum System (TMS), the world’s leading collections management system, to bring dynamic collections content and media to client websites, intranets, and kiosks. The latest product update includes numerous new features.

“We are excited to offer our clients the most feature-rich and powerful version of eMuseum to date,” says Jay Hoffman, CEO of Gallery Systems. “In our ongoing dedication to support our clients’ collections management needs and help them share their collections with ever wider audiences, eMuseum now delivers a more sophisticated, personalized experience with seamless accessibility.”

With eMuseum, online audiences can:

  • Access a collection on any mobile device
  • Refine their search using advanced filtering
  • Create and share their own online collection

For clients, eMuseum features optional API services for enhanced data sharing and collaboration and is Linked Data compatible, supporting JSON, XML and customizable RDF formats for viewing and sharing records.  In addition, eMuseum includes an updated infrastructure for simplified upgrades and greater stability, speed, and security. With enhanced analytics, clients can gain insight into what their audiences are viewing and collection patterns.

“eMuseum helps clients grow and connect with their audiences, piquing interest in, and bringing relevance to their collections. This latest version will enhance this ability,” adds Hoffman.

The new version of eMuseum is free for existing eMuseum clients.
